Now that both sides of the Hawai`i legislature have passed the fake state Akaka bill, it goes to committee for both bills to be combined into one.

The only problem is, the two bills are radically different and one side has already said they do not intend to change one word of their version of the bill.

Moreover, one version of the bill is not set to take effect until over a decade from today.

So what going on? Is an Akaka bill stalemate possible? Find out this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV.

And speaking of the future, we feature two individuals this week who have their sights set on doing their part to make Hawai`i a better place to live. See for yourself all this week on Hawai`i’s award winning

A Free Hawai`i would not be occupied by the US.

It is a sovereign state with dominion, the right to join the UN, and fly it's own flag.

On the other hand, under federal recognition and the Akaka bill, Hawai`i would technically become a "captured nation," meaning that international law could not prohibit US aggression and total extermination of its indigenous Hawaiian population.

Even worse, native recognition would be conditional only after extinguishing Hawaiian Kingdom Citizenship political status (your right to exist.)

The Akaka bill would not grant full autonomous self-rule and would in fact destroy Hawaiian Kingdom territorial integrity which continues to exist right now, even as you read these words.

Why reject the Akaka bill for a Free Hawai`i ?

Independence is formal recognition of Hawai`i's territory and laws. It's subjects are not under US jurisdiction.

The Akaka bill means forever giving up all that and agreeing to being part of the US as wards of the US federal government.

The Hawaiian Kingdom still exists, has its own bill of rights, constitution and comprehensive laws.

Only by the assertion of our dominion and a Free Hawai`i can we protect our beloved homeland with international support.

KO HAWAII PAE AINA

9334358886?profile=original

Aloha!... Within the reality we're educated today, we stirve for well being. What dose it take to understand? the answers  are never in words but only in DOings. Respect is'nt somthing said, its somthing done. Our Ali'i set a political foundation for all kanaka maoli. In doing so we have a responsibilty to excersize, maintain, and preseve a culture that reflects a defenition of who we are and where we come from(practicing this in any way is respect). What is this political foundation?.. most people ask this. In july 1839 Kamehameha III along with the royal privy council created and founded the constitutional nation KO HAWAII PAE AINA also naming Kanaka Maoli as the body people with the vested rights(this gave the people the inherited right to responsibiltys and juristictions). In doing so the monarchy was desolved(this means that the king is not president politicaly unless voted in) and parlimentary style goverment was established by the qualified voters ( a natural born citizen who is of age and compentency to vote on national matters)who were Kanaka maoli. this nation exsists today. we are standing on it. We no need fight for what we already have..... what happened in the past? how did it get this way? its not so simple to explain it may even be harder to accept and understand but heres the truth. our islands were a center trade route for the world for generations of time. other countries established an allegence with the kingdom and started farm plantations. united states was very young (13 colonys or somthing) and was having an effect on the globe. people from all over the world wanted to be apart of the new america. not realizing the impact it would have, our alii allowed the import of people to supply the demand for agricultral produce and product. this was happening at the same time treaties for our nation were being created. before the education could get out conspiritors fabricated documents to manipulate people in to believing things that are not true. it said that no matter what country your from( china, japan, mexico,ect...)(except Ko Hawaii Pae Aina)  you would be given u.s. citizenship and voting rights to annex hawaii( only the bigisland has the name hawaii). this is the smoking gun that still smoking today. a mass amount of people that did not know what they were doing helped to perpetuate what we know today.a foundation that is built up based on lies will not stand the test of time. the reason the akaka bill dose not have any gound is because our alii registered our aina as KO HAWAII PAE AINA and nationality as KANAKA MAOLI through due process and can not be reversed or corupted. Our minds can be corupted thruogh miseducation and religion, but we will inspire each other in a doing that is called experience. when we experiance somthing that is unacceptable  efforts are made to corect a situation. lets stop trying to correct whats in the past and take responsibility for the future. "We the kanaka maoli a oiwi a Hawaiiloa o Ko Hawaii Pae Aina, hereby give legal public notice of Declaration of continued de jure constitutional independant neutral status".

Grover Cleveland Refused Illegal Annexation Of Hawai`i

Thanks to the actions of Stephen Grover Cleveland more than 115 year ago, the history of Caldwell is forever linked to the tropical Pacific Islands of Hawai`i....

...But later this month, representatives from the Pacific Justice Reconciliation Center in Hawai`i will travel to Caldwell to honor Cleveland for a much lesser-known distinction.

In 1893, President Cleveland supported the kingdom’s sovereignty after the Hawaiian monarchy was overthrown.

His bold actions made him a hero to some native Hawaiians, who for six years have sent representatives to New Jersey to mark the anniversary of Cleveland’s actions on what is known as Hawaiian Restoration Day.

Cleveland was serving his second term in 1893 when American businessmen and sugar plantation owners staged a coup to overthrow Hawaii’s Queen Lili`uokalani.

They declared Hawai`i a republic and appealed to the president to annex the islands to the United States. After investigating, Cleveland refused, stating the Queen should be restored to power.

DOES THE U.S. HAVE A MONOPOLY ON LOVE OF COUNTRY?  179480_176729199030909_130066877030475_343881_3267441_n.jpg

In 1993, the United States admitted in US Public Law 103-150 that it violated its own Constitution, its treaties and international law by perpetrating an outrageous armed theft of the Kingdom of Hawai`i and the forced American citizenship of Hawaiian national citizens.

The US recognized in 1894, and again in 1993, that the Kingdom of Hawai`i has a right to exist.

The Hawaiian Nation has a right and obligation to enact and dictate land laws which prevent the selling of its lands to foreign speculators at prices which deny native nationals from living on their own home islands at an affordable price.

The Hawaiian nation has a right and obligation to protect and defend the quality of life, land, water, ocean and air. The Hawaiian nation has a right and obligation to its citizens to provide the best in education, health care and housing.

Aloha Ohana,

Cousin Kanoe and I finally attended our first meeting with the other Ah Leong families yesterday at Sizzler's, Pearlridge.  We have a hunch that our tutu Rose K. Ah Leong Daniels may have been the daughter of Kalua Ah Leong (k) one of the 7 children of John Ah Leong (b Feb 1838) and Kalama (b 1840 S Kona).  He is one of the 3 siblings that are missing info.  We have been looking and researching and some of the names points to Kalua as Rose's dad.

Anyway,  we wanted to see how many of our ohana's wanted to attend the reunion?  The main event happens Saturday July 16, 2011 at Kapiolani Park 8am-8pm (all day).  This will be the first time all the Ah Leong families will be gathering.

Next meeting is Saturday May 14, 2011 at Sizzlers, Pearlridge.

SB.1520, the senate version of the fake state Akaka bill passed the third reading in the Hawai`i legislature this last week.

Before it can be signed into law it now must be reconciled with HD.3 the house version, which has very different wording.

Many of you have contacted us with one simple question – “Is there a better way than these deeply flawed and corrupt bills?”

The answer is yes, and unlike the fake state Akaka bills, the solution is something that doesn’t fall short and deserves your support.

If you’re curious as to what that might be, we’ve got the answer for you this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV.

Meanwhile we feature two different individuals at two completely different sites, yet both have one thing in common – they both are based on ancient ways of the past. See what we mean all this week

Aloha Everyone,

I am trying to help out a friend who is working on a farming project in Waimanalo. They just did the land clearing and found a fresh water spring and what may possibly be a sacred stone dedicated to Kane.

This project will teach self sufficiency and give back to the community. Yes, kalo will be grown and cultivated there. They have been receiving blessings from a Kahuna and the signs are there.

I don't exactly know where the project is yet. My friend needs to get back to me but what I do want to know if anyone has information on any sacred lands in the Waimanalo area. Any sacred springs or heiau that were dedicated to Kane or anyone other deity that is important to our culture.

If this is sacred land, this is a great find and a treasure. My friend and his project are going to do everything they can to protect the land and it's resources.

Please, if you have any information about the history of the land, let me know. This is the only way to preserve our culture. Hawaiians giving back to Hawaiians.

Mahalao nui loa...Malama Pono...

IS HAWAI`I REALLY PART OF THE US?

P1010166.JPG

The United States claims it possesses the Hawaiian Islands. But the facts show that at no time did lawful title to the Hawaiian Islands actually transfer from the Hawaiian Kingdom to the US either directly or indirectly.

The thieves who stole the Hawaiian Kingdom “car” fenced it to the US, who has been driving it around as its own.

The takeover of the Hawaiian Kingdom violated the Hawaiian Constitution, the US Constitution and the Law of Nations.

According to the governing principles embodied in those documents, the only lawful means to peacefully change a government is by the consent of the people.

There was no consent of the people for the 1893 takeover, nor for the 1893 Provisional Government for Hawai`i, nor for the 1894 formation of the Republic of Hawai`i, nor for the 1898 Annexation to the US, which was not even legitimate according to US law.

And finally, the 1959 vote conferring “statehood” to Hawai`i was based upon the previous illegitimate acts and did not conform to the criteria or procedures required by international law under the United Nations Charter.

The “statehood” plebiscite constituted fraud and thus, “the state of Hawai`i” is an unlawful entity - a fake state.

Maui News - April 2, 2011

WAILUKU - Maui County Council members gave unanimous support Friday for a move in the state Legislature to convene a panel to probe two executive agreements related to the 1893 overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy.

Council Member Elle Cochran, who initiated county support of state House Concurrent Resolution 107, said the council action does not commit it to a position on the matter but does support the intent to gather more information.

The resolution was introduced in the state Legislature by state Rep. Mele Carroll, who represents residents of East Maui, Molokai and Lanai. It would establish "a joint legislative committee to investigate the status of executive agreements known as the Lili`uokalani Assignment and the Agreement of Restoration."

According to the resolution, one document provided for Queen Lili`uokalani, under protest, to temporarily yield her authority to the government of the United States to avoid bloodshed. A second document, or agreement, provided that Lili`uokalani would provide amnesty to those who overthrew her government.

The resolution says that "President Cleveland and his successors in office have violated these agreements by not administering Hawaiian Kingdom law and not restoring the Hawaiian Kingdom government."

State House members approved the resolution Thursday.

April 15, 2011 Hilo Peace Vigil

just do it
This Tax Day--
Bring the War Dollars Home!

April 15, 2011 marks our 500th consecutive weekly Hilo Peace Vigil in front of the downtown Post Office/Federal Building.  Each week we prepare a new peace leaflet for handing out on the corner and distribution worldwide via the internet. The five points at the bottom of each leaflet remain the same each week.  Anyone can sign up on our malu-aina.org website to receive notice of new posts.

We started this vigil on Sept. 12, 2001 to urge restraint not vengeance in response to the 9-11 attacks. It's been nearly 10 years of endless, expanding, wars: Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Libya.  Who is next?  Trillions of dollars have been spent on wars and militarism.

Let's be clear.  Whether you believe 9-11 was an inside job or not, the "war on terrorism" is really a war of empire to secure control of oil and other global resources. Yet the entire world is becoming more and more insecure.  Wars continue with no end in sight.  The civilian death toll mounts, so too with refugees, people tortured, infrastructure destroyed, etc. etc.  On top of that  --Nuclear radiation is encircling the planet, global warming is threatening unprecedented climate change, the world food supply is in crisis, economies are on the edge of collapse --with people loosing homes, jobs, and health care.  Schools and libraries are being closed and basic human services are being cut.  Ask working moms, teachers, and union workers how secure they feel today.  One in six workers in the U.S. does not have a job.  And 6 million people have lost their homes to repossessions. And now
in the name of deficit reduction major domestic program cuts are planned that aid seniors, children, and the poor.  But no one wants to talk about the gorilla in the living room -- the need for slashing the military and war budgets!

Meanwhile,  big corporations and the super rich make obscene incomes and pay little or no taxes.  Take for example General Electric. GE made $14.2 billion in profits last year--but paid NO federal taxes, according to the New York Times  March 24, 2011.   And GE isn't unique.   A fourth of the country’s largest corporations—including ExxonMobil and Bank of America—paid no federal income taxes in 2010.  In fact Bank of America was handed $45 billion—that is billion with a B—in federal bailout fund.   The big banks and Wall Street caused the current financial crisis yet many of these corporate super rich executives are given multimillion dollar bonuses and provided tax breaks and loopholes to avoid paying taxes.  Instead of a government "of the people, by the people, and for" the people, the U.S. has become a nation of, by, and for for the one percent, according to economist  Joseph Stiglitz.  And both major political parties are helping the corporations to rob the poor to pay the rich.

All U.S. citizens have a responsibility to get the U.S. empire off the backs of people around the world and here at home.  Stop all the wars and end all occupations, including the occupation of Hawaii.  The struggles for global and local justice are one.

Dismantle the War Machine & the U.S. Empire!
Slash Military Spending & Fund Human Needs!

1. Mourn all victims of violence. 2. Reject war as a solution. 3. Defend civil liberties. 4. Oppose all discrimination, anti-Islamic, anti-Semitic, etc.
5. Seek peace through justice in Hawai`i and around the world.

Film screening: Lt. Watada: A Matter of Conscience
Directed by Oscar Award Winner Freida Lee Mock
Followed by Q&A with Ehren's attorney, Eric Seitz

"In 2006, Lt. Ehren Watada risks a successful career as a military officer when he refuses his orders to deploy to Iraq. Watada takes his defiance a step further when he becomes the first commissioned military officer to speak publicly on his refusal for deployment and to challenge the Presidential war policy in Iraq. Though Watada must face court martial, the possibility of up to eight years in prison, and the wrath of the public, he continues to defend his belief that the war in Iraq is in fact illegal and a violation of his oath. This riveting and suspenseful documentary follows the lonely, courageous, and ultimately redemptive journey of one man who tries in the midst of daunting opposition to do the right thing." [from the film description]

We know most of you are familiar with Ehren's case, but we guarantee there will be new information. The film includes interviews with Ehren, footage of demonstrations in his support, and with his attorney and family. Don't miss this special preview!
