For my family and friends who going spock dis out (because I know they like KNOW)because I went on a posting hiatus in many of my blogs for MY causes and what I believe in while dedicating ALL of it to ALL of the descendants of Wakea, Papa, and Haloa ONLY to be criticized for either my looks and/or my mana'o LOL Some people even had an attitude of, "Who does she think she is????" I am my kupuna-s' mo'opuna das who LOL Yes... it amuses me. However one of my goals is to help pay for tuition for some LESS fortunate Hawaiians to finish law school so that they can help protect other oiwi after I make. I MUST do this BEFORE I make. Make sense? LOL So I am on a temporary posting hiatus and work on them when I can.If I could tell my nieces and nephew one thing that is that land is an appreciable asset and that some people ARE running them over and will continue to run them over in order to get it.Fortunately I told my 13 year old niece as well as my 17 year old niece. I KNOW that they will remember. When I die I know that they will remember everything that I told them LOLSome people ask me why I tell my nieces that. They think it is too much for a child to know. Is the truth too much for a child to know if it materially affects the VALUE of THEIR LIFE and the quality of THEIR life??? LOL I don't think so plus I do explain it in an age appropriate way. They know who they are. IMHO they also need to know that people are trying to run THEM over. That way they will be more aware.IMHO we should be teaching that to every oiwi child. As well as telling them that they can be WHATEVER they want to be. No limits... because to limit them is to limit OUR kupuna. Yeah if you think about it... I state the obvious LOLOkay more pics:When my twin sister and I were babies:Of course these days my hair has blondish highlights. Yes I get ALOT of flack for that. Obviously I do NOT listen to the NEGATIVE people LOL (I ONLY listen to my kupuna. Das it!) To limit us is to limit our KUPUNA. Unfortunately some people are SO negative about our potential. It shows me that they WANT to limit our kupuna. Someone's choice of making a living does NOT correlate with these oiwi slapping their kupuna in their face and/or stepping on their bones. It's too bad that the FEW pilau ruin it for the rest but they do NOT correlate. It depends on the roots and if and HOW the roots have been nurtured. One way to find out how the shoot is is to go to the root. Instead some people conflate ANYTHING haole to mean "s/he slaps their kupuna in their face and/or steps on his or her kupunas' bones." They are NOT mutually exclusive! Some books that I recently bought at a thrift store for either 99 cents or $1.99 each:Whenever I go to a thrift store (which is one of the things that I enjoy) I look for books that are interesting. The "new" leather couch that I bought from the hospice thrift store where its proceeds go towards paying for hospice care for those less fortunate:It was $280.My "new" leather reading chair that I bought from the hospice thrift store:The flash washed out the color but it's the same shade as the couch. It was $80 and yes it is VERY comfortable LOL It's like one of those sofas at Borders as in VERY comfortable.Latahs!!

https://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=GbRXF64YotEFirst, the link to a video that isn't as significant as the comments I've seen with this ejseabury person. It started with other people replying "Free Hawaii" and how he stupidly says that it is free, and then more details came out. Now, or the most recent thing he said regarding the Newland's Resolution was that contrary to what I posted about the diff. articles in the US Constitution, he said that the President was NOT the only person to make treaties. Is he fucking serious? I remember this popolo professor of mine STRESSING that we knew what Congress could do and the powers of the President. I mostly remember how he stressed the powers of Congress and what he had to memorize, but that already shows you the emphasis that...what is listed as what Congress can do, they can do it. Now if they could make treaties, then that would've been in there, but that wasn't the case. It is only for the President to make treaties. Then he mentioned the Republic of Hawaii. I can only think back to what Leon Siu wrote on his illustration/comparison to a car being stolen. This guy is ridiculous, not to mention he brought up his ancestor Manuel Nunes and how he was a Hawaiian citizen, and that was his response to me asking what did I constitute as a "foreigner". Shit, my meaning of a foreigner is just that, someone foreign! He also mentioned the voting (Statehood) since I mentioned mostly military and he said that it wasn't someone from AZ that voted, but Hawaii RESIDENTS. Give me a fucking break! And he said he is willing to allow people to re-vote again. Hell no, is that fair? That's like bringing in half of Mexico into the southern borders of the US and allowing them to vote for...I dunno, another president. Would that be fair? Then there was a comment I read in yesterday in Ka Wai Ola, an editorial comment where a woman said how important the tourists are to the economy. If I remember correctly, she mentioned the incident where a tourist was attacked by locals. As tragic and unfortunate that was, her comment about how we should be nice to tourist because it is they who help generate income to those particularly working these jobs in the tourist industry just rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, first of all it's patronizing to me, and then to say how if we're not nice to tourists, that what, things will go bad as far as the economy goes? Give me a break!

Regarding the May 7th Advertiser “Isle delegation reintroduces version of the Akaka bill approved in 2007” article, again politicians far away and seemingly further out-of-touch with their constituents are making decisions for thousands that have yet to be heard on this specific issue. Not since 2000 have hearings been held on any of the Hawaiian Islands. Certainly the 2007 Akaka Bill which easily passed through many congressional committees then was not brought to the Hawaiian communities. You’d think hearings would be held on such an important bill that affects our entire community.I guess we can expect the same from Washington DC and Washington Place as we have from Wall Street. More corruption with no remedy!Foster AmpongKahului, MauiRead more…
I sat there in disbelief and brought to tears as I watched 2 out of 3 teams trying to complete their first task which entailed transporting a pig to the imu. As I watched them drop the pig numerous times, I became angry and immediately felt disrespected. I felt as if they were disrespecting our culture and degrading our people. I cannot believe CBS and The Amazing Race was even allowed to perform this task. Did they even consult a Native Hawaiian consultant on this when they decided to do it? I mean there are a million other things stupid non-Hawaiians (I'm trying to be nice here) racing for a million dollars could've done. See for yourself and tell me what you think...http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race/video/video.php?cid=1006793061&pid=y3q8xfm_qYMlQoTwzsTg3rNdtNCg23v_&category=editorial&play=trueI la maika'i nou...

The launch of HawaiiFakeState.com this last week has shown one simple fact – never before have so many been so interested in learning the truth about Hawai`i and it’s real history.HawaiiFakeState.com has been swamped with visits and messages from so many declaring their support for a Free Hawai`i.We’ll be hearing a lot this summer from the fake state itself claiming the biggest lie of all – Hawai`i as the 50th state. But because now you know better – let others know – HawaiiFakeState.comWe debut another new Voices Of Truth show this week from the island of Kaua`i.Special things are happening at Kawaikini charter school, and our visit there with Malia `Alohilani Rogers reveals why – they overcame tremendous odds to offer the kind of education for Kaua`i’s children parents are standing in line for.Want to see a place where miracles do come true day after day? Hear Mahealani describe for the first time what it was like from the inside including how they used aloha to defuse a tense situation. Sending a ray to sunshine to na wahine who are makuahine! Have a wonderful time to self reflect and creating memories with your 'ohana! The greatest gift to give is the unconditional love to my children! From myself and my 'ohana: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!My daughters..
The Place of Hawaii in American Studies was the so called topic. Hmmm. Keala Kelly had it going on! She knew her stuff!
Very interesting yet can be emotional too!
As I looked onward and listened... I was disappointed when a woman kept on asking about Hawaiians and current issues of status. For myself, it was actually educating someone who didn't understand or only knew little. It was the way she said and insisted that we "kinda like saying we asked for it." What an "anal retentive attitude" she had. I set her straight and any other curious person who was there trying to understand or seek information about Hawaiians. We did not give permission to Westerners to come here and take our 'aina and so forth. In Westerner terms, easy to to relate to: "Involuntary."We need to get this straight...the Fake State is not here for you along with LINDA LINGLE and her bandits or CLAYTON HEE. THEY WILL EXPLOIT YOU AND MAKE MONIES BY TRYING TO SELL SEIZED LANDS!They stole from our Kingdom and robbed us of our self dignity and expect us to keep quiet!!! I don't thinks so! I shared my mana'o and just let them know how we feel about this historical injustice!!!
