I concurred with this until he used his contrived arguments from, "...Today Hawaiians..." to the end of his reversed-racist discourse, all of which is repugnant and disingenuous.

His dismal attempt to shift and spin the self-created issues and calling the pot black is sinister and sly as a fox.   Now if he started with, "Today, White Americans...",  this spin-master would be more in line with the truth.

It's common knowledge that racism is a white man's problem imbued in their society spored from the Papal Bulls to create the doctrines and tenets of Manifest Destiny in which they firmly believe it is their God-given rights to subjugate all non-white/non-Christian people and nations, all of which stems from their theocratic society which is known today as the United States of America.    To top it all, even white women were not considered equal to white men in their society.

Over a hundred years after the creation of the U.S. was slavery abolished and still racism was not eradicated.  The Klu Kllux Klan, Jim Crow Laws, double-standard justice, Indian Affairs, Interior and Foreign policies, The Massie Case in Hawaii, etc. all reaffirm this national behavior.

What Conklin will skirt and ignore is the national issue which is what we are fighting for today; it was never an ethnic or racial issue.   It is Conklin and his U.S. American ilk that introduce this reverse-racist arguments into our issue.

Let's be very clear about this strategy they are using.  They are white-washing the issue (pun intended).

For one thing, this is a national issue and not an ethnic/racial issue which is why many Hawaiians initially protested the Manifest Destiny bill introduced to us in 2000 which was known back then as the Recognition Bill.

The initial proposal was to make us a tribal American indigenous people.   We protested that we are a nation which the U.S. already recognized and that we are illegally occupied by the "U.S.A. Masters" bent on redefining us and who we are.  We wanted our country back which means the U.S. would have to de-occupy our nation-state which was already recognized as a peer throughout the world nations.

What people fail to see is that the Kingdom of Hawaii is a mainstream Polynesian Hawaiian society created by the Kanaka Maoli people; just as the United States of America is a mainstream racist WASP society created by the Euro-American colonists from Great Britain who subscribes to the doctrines of the Christian Manifest Destiny tenets.

Conklin is applying his white-American "hang ups" to and in Hawaii as an argument to the U.S. application of their racist Manifest Destiny doctrines on Hawai'i, the Kingdom of Hawaii.   The foundation of the U.S.A. is WASP theocracy and not democracy.    The U.S. original Declaration of Rights stated, "...All men are equal..." referred to all white men are created equal as attested in the manifest destiny doctrines; white women were not considered equal in this declaration.

Notice also during that period in time, that was the predominant thinking of the Western European thinking.  If they meant ALL people, they wouldn't have used "all men", they would have used, " all man" as in mankind.

The Federal Akaka Bill and the state of Hawaii's facsimile continues to force its racist documents to regulate a free people to be subjugated under its control.   The U.S. has already admitted to its crime, conspiracy, violations and recognizes the status of the Kingdom of Hawaii ande its people.   What is doesn't want to do is reparation and restitution for its crime and to de-occupy the Kingdom of Hawaii.   This is why it wants integration into its country voluntarily rather than give up its advantage and control of what it stole.   The U.S. is showing no remorse of its felonious crime and wants to keep what it coveted.

Now this is what anyone can use in part or in whole of what I have stated because these are backed by researched facts.  You have my permission to use it.

BY KENNETH R. CONKLIN, PH.D. – HB1627 is a bill in the Hawaii legislature to create a state-recognized ethnic Hawaiian tribe. In view of the failure of the Akaka bill in Congress, HB1627 contains much of the worst language from that bill but brought over from the federal to the state level. The bill’s text is 37 pages long and can be downloaded from
http://tinyurl.com/4r2oy77
The hearing notice became available only Thursday morning February 3, with written testimony due by 9:45 AM Friday, for a hearing to be held at 9:45 AM Saturday February 5. How’s that for short notice! Do they really want to hear from us? The notice says decision-making will follow the hearing. But sometimes decisions are postponed. Testimony can be submitted “late” in case the committee does not make a decision immediately. See the hearing notice for details on time and place of the hearing, and how to submit testimony by way of the internet. http://tinyurl.com/4lc9eft
Here is the testimony I submitted on Thursday. Feel free to expand on any portions you like, or make your own points.
To the House Committee on Hawaiian Affairs:
HB1627 is fundamentally the same as the federal Hawaiian Government Reorganization bill, also known as the Akaka bill; except that instead of having the federal government recognize the Akaka tribe, this bill would have only the State of Hawaii recognizing that tribe.
The clear purpose of the bill is to authorize the creation of an entity with governmental powers, but restricted to people who have at least one drop of Hawaiian native blood.
That racist concept is unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Since all legislators have taken an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, any legislator who votes in favor of this bill has thereby violated that oath and must resign from office.
The concept of this bill also violates the first sentence of the first Constitution of the Kingdom of Hawaii, sometimes called the “kokokahi” (one blood) sentence, which proclaimed “Ua hana mai ke Akua i na lahuikanaka a pau i ke koko hookahi, e noho like lakou ma ka honua nei me ke kuikahi, a me ka pomaikai.” In English, it can be translated into modern usage as follows: “God has made of one blood all races of people to dwell upon this Earth in unity and blessedness.” What a beautiful and eloquently expressed concept! HB1627 is an ugly and disgusting violation of that kokokahi sentence.
King Kauikeaouli Kamehameha III wrote the kokokahi sentence as the first sentence of his Declaration of Rights in 1839, which was then incorporated in its entirety to become the preamble of the Constitution of 1840. In making that proclamation the King exercised sovereignty and self-determination on behalf of his native people, and on behalf of all people of all races who were subjects and residents of his Kingdom.
Today’s Hawaiians are ethically bound to respect the wisdom of their ancestors. They are also legally and morally bound to respect the full partnership between natives and non-natives which enabled the Kingdom to be established and to thrive. All subjects of the Kingdom were fully equal under Kingdom laws, regardless of race, including voting rights and property rights. When partners work together in full equality to create and sustain a business or nation, it is morally and legally wrong for one partner to toss out or set aside or segregate other partners.
A zealous minority within the ethnic Hawaiian minority demands racial separatism. Should we allow that? Will you legislators be accomplices to such evil?
Consider the historical struggle for identity within the African-American
community. Elijah Muhammad’s Nation of Islam, and the early Malcolm X, advocated racial separatism and portrayed the white man as a devil. Some radicals called for setting aside several southern states for a Nation of New Africa. Fortunately Martin Luther King used Gandhi’s spiritual tool of non-violence to appeal to people’s inner goodness, which led to full integration. After his pilgrimage to Mecca Malcolm X understood the universal brotherhood of people of all races, but was gunned down by the separatists when he tried to persuade them to pursue integration.
In Hawaii we see a similar struggle now unfolding. Some demagogues use racial grievances to stir up hatred, and leaders use victimhood statistics to build wealthy and powerful institutions on the backs of needy people who end up getting very little help.
The Akaka bill, and HB1627, would empower the demagogues and racial separatists. These bills are supported primarily by large, wealthy institutions; not by the actual people they claim to represent. Institutions like the $400 Million Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and the $9 Billion Kamehameha Schools, seek to entrench their political power. They want an exemption from the 14th Amendment requirement that all persons be given the equal protection of the laws regardless of race.
But Hawaiians are voting with their feet against the Akaka bill. After seven years and untold millions of dollars in state government money for advertising (and free T-shirts!), fewer than one-fourth of those eligible have signed up for the Kau Inoa racial registry likely to be used as a membership roll for the Akaka tribe. Sadly, if either the Akaka bill or HB1627 passes then the separatists will be able to create their tribe even though the majority of ethnic Hawaiians oppose the idea. And 80% of Hawaii’s people, having no native blood, will see our beautiful Hawaii carved up without even asking us.
Do the racial separatists have a right to go off in a corner and create their own private club for members only? Perhaps. But should the rest of us give them our encouragement and our resources to enable them to do that? Absolutely not.
It’s time for this legislature to stop encouraging racial separatism. It’s time to stand up in support of unity and equality. Just say no to HB1627 and all other bills motivated by the same mentality

After failing for eleven years to get the Akaka bill passed in Washington, DC, the push is now on to pass an Akaka bill through the Hawai`i legislature.

Never mind the people of Hawai`i have said overwhelmingly again and again they donʻt want it.

Never mind not one word of this bill addresses the theft of Hawai`i.

And never mind the fake state of Hawai`i has absolutely no constitutional authority whatsoever to create a “native Hawaiian governing entity.”

So who is behind this and what would it do? Watch our report this coming Wednesday on Free Hawai`i TV for some surprising details.

Poka Laenui has travelled the world over for many years as a human rights activist. He recently returned to the UN in Geneva and true to form, grabbed quite a bit of attention about Hawai`i by asking all the wrong questions.

DID THE US STEAL HAWAI`I?

cp1_0821091246a.jpg

The United States claims it possesses the Hawaiian Islands. But the facts show that at no time did lawful title to the Hawaiian Islands actually transfer from the Hawaiian Kingdom to the US either directly or indirectly.

The thieves who stole the Hawaiian Kingdom “car” fenced it to the US, who has been driving it around as its own.

The takeover of the Hawaiian Kingdom violated the Hawaiian Constitution, the US Constitution and the Law of Nations.

According to the governing principles embodied in those documents, the only lawful means to peacefully change a government is by the consent of the people.

There was no consent of the people for the 1893 takeover, nor for the 1893 Provisional Government for Hawai`i, nor for the 1894 formation of the Republic of Hawai`i, nor for the 1898 Annexation to the US, which was not even legitimate according to US law.

And finally, the 1959 vote conferring “statehood” to Hawai`i was based upon the previous illegitimate acts and did not conform to the criteria or procedures required by international law under the United Nations Charter.

The “statehood” plebiscite constituted fraud and thus, “the state of Hawai`i” is an unlawful entity - a fake state.

Using their own U.S. and fake-State of Hawaii constitutions and laws and their Apology Bill, we can see where they "shoot themselves in their feet".  Add to that the much discounted and over-looked Ku'e Petitions against annexation (Sept. 1897) whereby approximately 96% of the bona fide subjects of the Kingdom of Hawai'i responded against it which can be considered a plebiscite of its citizens.  This Ku'e Petitions answers the Turpie Resolution of 31 May 1894.
The fact that U.S. Secretary James L. Blaine's advice, supported later  by then U.S. President Benjamin Harrison and others within the U.S. government and community, was to destabilize the Kingdom of Hawaii without setting international precedent culminated in 1887 and conspired to overthrow and take control of the Kingdom of Hawaii for the purpose of annexing its territory to the United States of America for dominance within the Pacific Ocean for its Imperialism and Expansionism.  This led to the active invasion and belligerent occupation unlawfully executed in 1893 by settting up a puppet "Provisional Government"/Republic of Hawai'i.

After the Treaty of Annexation was twice rejected, first withdrawn by newly-elected President Cleveland from U.S.. Congress and Executive Agreement established; then another treaty that was rejected by  U.S. Congress, The Presidential-successor, McKinley allowed Congress to internally create the unlawful Newlands Resolution to annex Hawaii on 12 August 1898.  This blatantly ignored the Presidential Agreement and the contested Ku'e Petitions of September 1897 and continued setting precedence in the international arena and double-standard justice.

It is noteworthy to review the Organic Act of 30 April 1900:
Section 4. Citizenship.  That all persons who were citizens of the Republic of Hawaii on August 12, 1898 are hereby declared (!) to be citizens of the U.S. and citizens of the Territory of Hawai'i. -U.S. citizens that reside in Territory of Hawaii for one year on or since 12 August 1898 shall be citizens of the Territory of Hawaii.  (This secured U.S. citizens who came to tip the population count for U.S. control  to remain as permanent residence without losing their nationality and freedom to travel between the U.S. and Hawaii without a passport.  The Ku'e Petitions of 1897 confirms that the bona fide subjects of the Kingdom of Hawaii did not support the Republic of Hawaii and therefore not citizens of the ipso facto government.)

- Chinese Ban was applied.
-Puerto Rican did not lose political status by removing to Hawaii in 1901 but became U.S. citizens, hence, entitled to vote in Hawaii.
-24 March 1934 - Filipino placed on quota basis as aliens. Specifically inapplicable in Hawaii and immigration is determined by the Department of the Interior on basis of industrial needs.  Filipino national in Hawaii became alien by proclamation of Philippine Independence.
- A person born in the Kingdom of Hawaii of British parents domiciled there was held to be a citizen of the Republic of Hawaii although he was registered at birth at the British consulate and had never renounced allegiance to the British Crown nor sworn allegiance to the Hawaiian government.   (you can see U.S. preference for caucasians.)

The Admission Act (18 March 1959):
Section 19.  Nothing contained in this Act shall operate to confer United States nationality nor to terminate nationality heretofore  lawfully acquired, or restore nationality heretofore lost under any law of the (U.S.) or under any treaty to which the (U.S.) is or was a party.

(Since we were never lawfully citizens of the Republic of Hawaii as deemed by the Ku'e Petitions, U.S. belligerent occupation and never relinquished our rights as Hawaiian subjects, the U.S. breaches of the treaties, the U.S. violation of the law of occupation, law of neutrality, violations of the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment, the Constitution and Laws of the Kingdom of Hawaii, and the treaties between both countries; we are still Hawaiian subjects of the Kingdom of Hawaii.)

ISN'T HAWAI`I PART OF THE U.S.?

Hawai`i is not a part of the United States.

The truth is the current government, the “state of Hawai`i,” is a corporate construct of the United States that resulted from a series of unlawful acts stemming from the 1893 unlawful takeover of the recognized, peaceful, civil government of the Hawaiian Kingdom.

The government of the United States has twice officially acknowledged (in 1893 and again in 1993) that its participation in the takeover of a friendly, neutral nation was an unprovoked unlawful act of aggression.

Suppose someone stole your car, forged documents and sold it to someone else. Does that new “owner” own the car? Suppose the new “owner” gave it to someone else. Does that new “owner” own the car?

Now suppose the original thief confesses to the crime of how he unlawfully obtained (stole) the car. Who owns the car now? Is it the person most recently in possession of the car, or you, the person from whom it was initially stolen?

Of course, according to common sense and common law, the answer is - you. Since you never gave your consent, the title of the car never lawfully changed hands to anyone else.

You are still the lawful owner.

OFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS LAND PLAN NOT LEGAL

Maui News - January 30, 2011

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs is "prepared to accept lands in lieu of cash to settle the long-festering ceded-lands issue."

The ceded lands were stolen without compensation and fraudulently conveyed without title from the thief (the republic of Hawai`i) to its collaborator (the United States).

The state of Hawai`i received stolen lands from the US government.

OHA aspires to acquire part of that stolen property to settle funding issues with the state. These funds would be spent attempting to subjugate the Hawaiian people as corporate fictions indigenous to the United States.

OHA and the state have no authority to negotiate away unrelinquished claims to lands they don't own. The unrelinquished claims are those of kanaka maoli, native Hawaiian, as a sovereign people over their national lands.

By unlawfully negotiating away the claims of kanaka maoli to their sovereign lands in exchange for part of those stolen lands, OHA would be in collusion with the US and the state of Hawai`i by creating an agreement between two or more persons to defraud a person of his rights by the forms of laws.

The land legacy of the state of Hawai`i and the United States in Hawaii is one of theft, fraud and genocide by triage. Finalizing the theft of Hawaii kingdom lands will not better the conditions of Native Hawaiians.

With no Akaka Bill, and federal recognition unlikely, what could be better than the potential promise of land to entice Native Hawaiians to join OHA's tribe?

Mana Wahine!

Much has been discussed about men versus women. Without men there would be no women and vice versa.

CivilBeat.com posted one of their videos of Fake Ali'i Neil Abercrombie taking his oath on December 6, 2010 at the David KALAKAUA CORONATION Pavilion.

Mana wahine in the house!!!

Can you hear me at :45? What am I screaming?

Listening closely because it's difficult to hear but if you LISTEN you can hear my niece and I screaming out, "THIS IS SACRED GROUND!!!"

with me emphasizing the GROUNNNNNNDDD LOL

Mana wahine from the wairua (chin) and NA'AU.

Each month women bleed. Like they die every month. Only to have their na'au pull them through.

Florida judge rules health care law unconstitutional

This  may affect Hawaiian nationals who are stuck in the matrix LOL

Florida judge Roger Vinson ruled TODAY that the mandatory buy-in health insurance is unconstitutional.

An excerpt of his ruling:

"For the reasons stated, I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounded of its authority in passing the Act with the indivual mandate. That is not to say, of course that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our healthy care system. The health care market is more than one sixth of the national economy,

and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principal dispute has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here.

Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void."

The illegal US occupation is yesterday's solution.

It means going hat in hand to the US federal government for help and turning Hawaiians inward and against each other in their own land.

For more than 100 years, this has not worked.

Instead, we can seize the opportunity to create a dynamic new nation through which we can maintain our culture and values, have more control over our future and be a leader among the Pacific nations.

Let This Be Our Legacy To Future Generations

Researchers say WikiLeaks damaged American power

It makes one wonder where these researchers have been.  The examples they use is old news that we knew about BEFORE the Wikileaks "scandal".  American power was damaged by those in power in America.   You're right!  Wikileaks is a scapegoat of things we already knew and the U.S needs to blame someone else for their criminal behavior.

I like this the best:
On the law
“Julian Assange is not American, was not on US soil when he published the cables and did not steal the leaked documents. Any prosecution is likely to throw up constitutional issues, particularly the notion of extra-territorial application of American laws.”

Isn't this what we have been saying about the Newlands Resolution and Statehood?  LMAO! Remember this and use it!

Nice to see that wikileaks continues to be a scapegoat for the failures of corrupt US policy. Why not also blame the Guardian, Der Spiegel and the NYTimes for corroborating and editing the cables before publication on Wikileaks... or better yet, corrupt US power abroad.

It was about time someone from the inside was a whistle-blower.

Researchers say WikiLeaks damaged American power
January 26th, 2011 in Other Sciences / Economics & Business
Researchers say WikiLeaks damaged American power(PhysOrg.com) -- One of the first academics to study the impact of the exposure of US diplomatic cables by WikiLeaks argues that American power has been significantly damaged. Professor Inderjeet Parmar, from The University of Manchester, says the prevailing argument that WikiLeaks has caused little lasting harm to the US is inaccurate.
“Information brought to the world’s attention by WikiLeaks has wreaked havoc on the United States in many different ways,” he said.
“The cables continue to damage America’s standing and influence on the world and its relationship with allies including Britain, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Yemen, Nigeria and others.”
The damage, he said, will be acutely felt when the US State Department host UNESCO’s world press freedom day May 2011.
He added: “The success of WikiLeaks in leveraging major news outlets such as the Guardian and New York Times is a major disruption to the Government’s agenda.
“For politicians, media and opinion-management go hand in hand: policies must be sold to publics to be politically salient.
“These cables have severely impeded that ability; they have challenged the agenda-setters who are normally used to following their chosen policies and controlling how they are portrayed to a mass audience.”
On Iran
“We now know there are differences between the US and Israel over Iran’s perceived nuclear threat. The Iranians now know that Israel is concerned about this and political consequences are sure to follow. The Iranians also now know that Israel is extremely wary of military strikes on Iran’s nuclear plants.”
On Tunisia
“It’s clear that WikiLeaks cables added to Tunisian public’s sense that President Zainul Abedin Ben Ali was corrupt and out of touch with the people. The uprisings there were at least in part influenced by secret US embassy cables and could release a wave of change throughout the Arab world, most of them staunch US allies, including providing a more powerful impetus to extreme Islamist parties.”
On China
“The Chinese now know how much the US accepts that its economy - and employment - depends on them. Hu Jintao’s current visit to the US will no doubt feature deployment of such knowledge in trade negotiations. This is likely to become a key factor in the next US election and will heighten the self confidence of the Chinese, which some embassy cables described as ‘hubris’.”
On Pakistan
“The US public is better informed about Pakistan’s instability and support for terrorist acts against US forces. They also know it provides the Pakistan security services with billions of dollars of cash.”
On US prestige
“With alleged WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning being held in solitary confinement without charge, the impact on US image is considerable, even provoking cyber attacks on US institutions, and a growing campaign for better treatment.”
On the law
“Julian Assange is not American, was not on US soil when he published the cables and did not steal the leaked documents. Any prosecution is likely to throw up constitutional issues, particularly the notion of extra-territorial application of American laws.”
On Obama and politics
“The WikiLeaks disclosures echo something of the post Vietnam post Watergate and post Pentagon papers atmosphere of the 1970s. That resulted in the election of Jimmy Carter with high hopes of restoring the US image – like Obama after the Bush years. But Carter’s failure led to rise of a new Right and the election of Ronald Reagan. WikiLeaks could very possibly lead to the rise of a more credible Republican challenger not from a moose hunting Alaskan but from a man on horseback – General David Petraeus.”

ECONOMY DRIVING AWAY HAWAIIANS AND THEIR ALOHA

Greed, selfishness and simply using these islands to allow foreigners to make millions of dollars off our people are western concepts and have no place in Hawai`i.

Unless we immediately find a way to preserve and help Hawaiians, the tourism industry will soon find aloha even harder to sell.

With the cost of living and thousands of Hawaiian families still being forced to move to the US every year, we are depleting our greatest natural resource for aloha.

As Hawaiians lose their young to hopelessness and despair and moving away, aloha is in trouble.
