Sacred Journeys Hawaii
Have you ever wondered how the Western World developed? Europe was always outside of the mainstream civilization until the 12th Century. They were conquered by the Moors, Romans, and Chinese who's civilization is continuous for over 5,000 years. When these people invaded Europe, it was a land of barbarians living in mudflats and warlords fighting among each other. There was no culture, science, and their religion was paganistic. The conquerors had them learn the menial jobs to serve them. New technology was taught to them so that they could do the work of their masters. Instead of braodcloth, silk and fine linen was introduced into Europe. Coal for fuel and "gun powder" as imported. Sciences were brought in from the Middle East and Asia. Alchemy, horticulture, medicine, literature, calligraphy, masonry, mathematics, coins, the wheel, geometry, metalurgy, etc. All was introduced into Europe, the ancestors of those that immigrated to the Americas. It was the industrial Age that put Europe ahead in developing weapons while nations began to be formed.
So don't feel inferior to the Western world for Hawai'i was well-advanced and their philosophy to adopt, adapt, and be adept with new introductions pushed it forward into the "modern world" just as the Western World had done. We had skills, they never acquired and our innovation with new things made the Hawaiian Kingdom one of the most modern and progressive country during its heyday. It was cut short by the racist treachery of the Christian countries that searched for power, greed and covetness to steal resources from other countries. They are still barbarians and lack honor and integrity.
Hawaii developed with more integrity and honor and with greater intelligence which the Western World cannot fanthom because of its racist attitude of white superiority and materialistic god-like goals. The golden calf is nothing new to them; they still worship it.

Signing of Covenant: Mar. 24th Wed. 12:30 pm front of Army Museum-Fort DeRussy
A memorable event took place on March 23, when the U.S. Army in Hawaii unveiled its convenant with Native Hawaiians. Attached are the remarks delivered by Neil Hannahs. I was touched by his sensitivity and remarkable ability to deliver a message representative, meaningful and benefitting of the occasion. I served on the Advisory Council mentioned in Neil's remarks. As Neil indicates, the seed has been planted, the harvest is only assured if we commit to the care and growth of the seeds we plant.
