Signing of Covenant: Mar. 24th Wed. 12:30 pm front of Army Museum-Fort DeRussy
A memorable event took place on March 23, when the U.S. Army in Hawaii unveiled its convenant with Native Hawaiians. Attached are the remarks delivered by Neil Hannahs. I was touched by his sensitivity and remarkable ability to deliver a message representative, meaningful and benefitting of the occasion. I served on the Advisory Council mentioned in Neil's remarks. As Neil indicates, the seed has been planted, the harvest is only assured if we commit to the care and growth of the seeds we plant.

Don't you guys remember sitting, standing and voice ones opinion in favor of doing live fire around the 14 area's of culture preservation? How senior moments do we get? Next time one comes to my community and sit in the same sandbox with the military don't be quite and or agree to their contract of live fire and mind you with DU surrounding the 14 areas.
Why? Within 14 different areas there is a high probability that the live fire is going to destroy all of Makua. When you sit, stand in the sandbox with your enymies don't agree, don't be quite and most of all don't go against a person that is speaking against the PLAN to bomb Makua! STOP THE BOMBING!
Ofcourse they have to remove the 'iwi' in favor of live bombing knowing that there is a high probability they are going to bomb graves, hell bombs fly over from Schofield and land in Nanakuli or near Nanaikapono Elementary school. How safe is that, more like how stupid is that? Need to get on the right track and take responsibility for ones actions. 'Stop the bombing' has been around since the 70's. Kaohi
