aloha my fellow mauians,

it is wonderful to live on our Kingdom of Maui Nui.
if any of you would like to start a Hui. callled Maui No Ka Oi Ohana
i would love to be a part of it.

issues like the sail wreck outside of lahaina front street, what bad it is for our reef, who is responsible and who should be fined and the fine payment should go to yes, the Maui No Ka Oi Ohana Hui.

how about the mala wharf, what the heck is the state of hawaii doing about this dangerous sight, it is on a sacred fish pond. again who should be fined and yes the fines payments can go towards the --Maui No Ka Oi Ohana Hui.

this hui should gather to identify sacred places on this Kingdom of Maui Nui and addressed to the owners, leasesor, and county, state, and federal and they should be fined and payment fees be put into the account of yes--the Maui No Ka Oi Ohana Hui.

Video's and camera's can be given to each member of the Maui No Ka Oi Ohana Hui to take pictures of places, interview our living Kupuna's about their
mana'o and start fineing these agencies, businesses, the county, the state and the federal and all payments be put into yes, the Maui No Ka Oi Ohana Hui;

wow, just an idea from Akua
just sharing my mana'o
hope to meet you wonderful Mauians one day..............da princess

"The Future" will be playing at 6:15pm. The band consists of 13yr. old Timmi, 10 yr. old Emily, and 5yr. old Quin. Timmi plays slack key and ukulele, Emily plays bass guitar and ukulele and sings falsetto, Quin plays bongos and drums.

Aloha All,

There is a musical event happening this coming Wednesday in Kahului. It's to celebrate the ongoing "Generations" of music here on Maui. The goal is to spread local music and encourage the children to carry it on. It's being held at Pomaika'i Elementary School and will feature some really wonderful artists. One of our favorites is a good friend, Derick Sebastian, ukulele virtuoso.

The doors open Wednesday (5/28/08) at 5:45 p.m. The program starts at 6 p.m. and is expected to end around 7:30 p.m. There will be food available, proceeds for that go to the schools music program. The event is FREE, FREE, FREE!

Time: May 28, 2008 from 6pm to 7:30pm
Location: Pomaika'i Elementary School Kahului
Street: 4650 S Kamehameha Ave
City/Town: Kahului

Hope to see you there.

Aloha, Lanet

I'm not sure about anyone else on Maui but I've been so sick due to the smoke from the burning sugar cane fields!!! Ugh!!!
