I think what you are doing is a great thing. Keep up the good work; just be maka'ala with words and the troublesome semantics that can be misconstrued unintentionally. LOL... Kaohi pointed out your blog. This month has kept me busy and hopefully I will be able to view it live soon. Mahalo for all you do.

Correction: A Constitutional Monarchy IS a form of Democracy akin to United Kingdom with a binary legislation (House of Representatives [Commons] and House of Nobles). The United States is a Republic; also a form of Democracy. We were NOT colonized; we are belligerently occupied under the U.S. forced assimmilation. Queen Kapiolani was not in the line of succession, she was Queen Consort; whereas the Crown Princess Liliuokalani became regent during Kalakaua's absence and Queen Regnant once she succeeded her brother to the throne. Princess Kaiulani, once confirmed by legislature then became the Crown Princess. Succession was given only to direct descendants; not to hanai unless the bloodline was equal and accepted by the monarch and both houses of government. Their marriages had to be approved by the monarch; if not, they were cut out of the line as if dead. The customary law was to go back to the Royal School children and their direct descendants. The two schoolmates that outlived the Queen was Jane Loeau and Abigail Maheha. Abigail is the only one that have descendants living today. Continuity is of the Sovereign nation of the Hawaiian Kingdom; not necessarily the monarchy which is in rem. For election of a new stirp to the throne, one must follow the criteria established by the constitution.
