DO HAWAIIANS SUPPORT THE AKAKA BILL?

A Hawai`i National Speaks Out

There never was a treaty of annexation.

It is not up to the United States to administer the Independent rights of the Kanaka Maoli (native Hawaiian) people.

They are the ones who are trying to take that right away from us.

Independence - the fact or state of being independent.

Asking permission from the US every time we want to do something is in no shape or form being independent.

The Akaka bill is an attempt to clear all land title of the Hawaiian Kingdom and turn it over to the United States, nothing more.

It's an attempt to relinquish Kanaka Maoli claims to our inherent sovereignty as a people over our national lands to the United States.

Not through a plebiscite or referendum, but to try and trick the Kanaka Maoli people into agreeing to the Akaka bill.

Don't be stupid to believe their promises.
