  • Aloha e Kaipo! How are you? I just wanted to say that I picked up the ukulele and been taking lessons for the past 8 months. I am able to play "Amazing Grace" now. Not looking forward to starting school again on August 24. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care and aloha.

I replied to your comment on the "kanikapila" page regarding the Punana Leo oli. Is this the one you mean? This is my daughter doing the "shorter" version. Not exactly a "pro" recording (I caught her on my phone) but maybe it will help? Good luck in your quest!

  • Aloha e Kaipo. How are you? Just wanted to let you know that I had my first lesson with Herb Ohta, Jr. and was good fun. I learned how to play the song "Amazing Grace" during my lesson. I am learning from his book that he authored called Discovering the 'Ukulele.
