Heavy surf brought in good clean ocean water to most place. Plus there has been little rain. The only nasty spots remain Pakalas, especially off the Camp, and the stream at Kalapaki Bay. Heavy surf may be stirring up the dam-break mud off Rock Quarry.
We are still looking for volunteers on Kauai who can paddle out at a 'Home break" between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. every second saturday of the month to gather water samples.

Join the force!
