  • WOW!!! Go girl...about time. I think that she hit it on the head...OHA and DHHL are servants to those of like minds. It's true, when she says that OHA has not helped one needy family...meaning OHA helps those who will help them..that's not needy...that's political, corporational and has nothing to do with Kanaka maoli needs. I would say that finally Abigail is getting out and speaking up is a good thing. Now...what??? We will have to wait and see what happens in OHA and DHHL. And DHHL's houses are too expensive, it's ruled by foreign corporations who have nothing in common with homesteader's except Kuhio Day...Kane and his gang of hooligan's have threatened kupuna in Kona, with black opt helicopter's and military mercenaries to land on homes of those who are back in their taxes. Meanwhile, Maui homesteader's do not pay taxes, why should the other islands pay and that is where that is coming from.

However, we don't which side Abigail is coming from...if she's working with the feds...or she saw the lights and want to do something finally for the native Hawaiian people, I don't know...we will monitor this action for sure,..
  • As much as I disagree with her on some issues I am very happy that she has taken a stand because while she is a person of wealth her voice was heard by MANY people and as one can see has maken waves which in this case I LIKE. She and a few people can say that kinda thing though... and hope that MORE do. Kudos to her and to other STRONG Hawaiian women.

    Aloha ~~~ Lana
