    Aloha kakou.

                              Elouise Cobell an Elder (Niitsitapi) and champion of the Blackfoot Nation over in the U.S. passed away last Sunday evening October 16th aged 65.....  in the event Maoliworld members have not already heard.

    Elouise was the lead plaintiff in the successful Cobell v. Salazar, Indian Trust Settlement a case in which U.S. Judge Royce Lamberth characterized: "serves as an appalling reminder of the evils that result when large numbers of the politically powerless are placed at the mercy of institutions engendered and controlled by a politically powerful few."

    Compounding lies is true, many different ethnicity or the umbrella, and true we were here since the beginning of man in the Pacific Ocean just like other Pacific Islanders.  I feel the subjugation everyday, living among other native Hawaiians in an only Hawaiian community.  And true we were never indigenous to the Americas until someone signed into an agreement with US and that was Prince Kuhio and John Wise breaching us alongside all the other 'Rehabilitation Acts' and claiming jurisdiction over some islands in the Pacific at the hands of UN.  Will APEC seal the corporate deals with the US governement? Check out whose not/attending the list is on Moana Nui.  By the way there is no bloodquantum--so I don't have a say on the Akaka Bill!
