Not surprise Ehu, why? cause this happens all the dam time out here in Waianae. I too went to Haunauma Bay, and did not bring my license with me, so I said "I'm related to him" and she said, "how do I know that!" "I don't know that" I said, because I am the mother of all his children. She was a foreigner with a Japanese accent working behind the counter an interpreter for the tourist industry hired to care for non English speaking tourist from Japan.

Later, sitting on the beach I was so pissed off that I could not even enjoy my stay. I walked back up the hill. And never went back! What made Haunama Bay popular? Blue Hawaii! One of the male actors also acted in the movie Bird of Paradise, he runs across the coconut field and losses his sarong!

Anyway, mahalo Laulani for sharing this moment..I still can remember being punched out by a 'white male' that was enraged over us native people at UH Manoa, he was apprehended and was let go with a warning. I'm sorry you had to experience that moment in time when your son was just an infant sitting in his stroller. Much Aloha

Just to give you some aloha, I confront foreign recent hire'ees HPD police officers that are culturally insensitive on three wheels during houseless sweeps. They are freshly hired and have no hold backs when picking on local women and local children.
