About Us:

Imua Hawaii Films is a small group on Maui, Hawaii. The group was first started in late 2007. We are trying to complete films dealing with Hawaiian culture. Most members of our group attend the Kamehameha schools. Since we are taking classes about filming, we decided to give ourselves a name. Imua Hawaiian films is not a school club. Imua in Hawaiian means to move forward or in a forward direction. So our group name basically means Move forward Hawaiians.

Our Kupuna who said No to the Annexation of their nation, the Hawaiian Kingdom of Queen Liliuoklani and our ancestors.
