I took this picture near Seattle Community College. Twenty years earlier I used to walk to the bus stop in this area to get to the University of Washington. I couldn't believe it was 20 years.I lived in Seattle for about 13 years. I chose the University of Washington partly because they are more respectful of indigenous people than many other schools. I like Jimi Hendrix too.Of course everything would not be possible if it wasn't for some kind people like Gerry Johansen and some others at the Kamehameha Schools. They helped me with post-high financial aid just as they did when I attended Kamehameha Schools on full financial aid. If it wasn't for kind, compassionate people... I would still be poor so I like kind, compassionate people.Anyway nowadays there are many snobs there. I still have property in Kirkland but I don't like to go to Seattle too much because of the high snob factor haha
