  • Hey Sam, what is the concensus on the inhabitants of Necker? Were they simply Hawaiian and the island a early hawaiian outpost which fell into disuse?

    Or

    Was it settled by a different polynesian group?

    I have not read much on the island and its ti'i figures? ;)

    Their faces are marquesan derivitives , though the body reminds me some what of fiji forms in wooden figure bowls.
