taking a break from working on the restoration of the Kane'aki Hei'au in Makaha in 1996. Pua Mokuau-DeTroye and I were privileged to learn hale thatching with pili grass from Uncle Eddie Ka'anana.

    we had so much fun playing in this river...like little kids...water always does that. i still miss her too...
