  • Mahalo for the link! I will have to look at it in more depth later. I doubt that it is traditional ho'oponopono. But I am also interested in checking the other studies he cites.

    I just looked and the Parson's book does not cover Palau. Sorry. Still haven't heard back from my friend.

  • Aloha e Richard, Good to see you today. The book is Healing practices in the South Pacific / edited by Claire D.F. Parsons. It is at the UH library. I just found that article I wrote and it is not even a first draft, there are a lot of holes in it. A lot of the items from the Parsons book are not in the article. I will have to go back and add to it. I apologize. I sent an email to my friend who wrote his dissertation on ho'oponopono but haven't heard back yet. also, I was looking on line in the UH library catalog and there is another dissertation on ho'oponopono by a James Matthews. Have you seen that? What is it about? I actually will be on campus next week so will try to go by and look at it. A hui hou, Makana
