  • E Tita Kawai,
The word I got was that the kapa conference was moved to a later date. I can't remember which one. Wish someone would tell me.

  • O wau pu, tita. I miss you and mama. Glad to know the 'ohana is okay. That was a BEAUTIFUL photo of you and your mo'opuna in the Hana Hou magazine on Hawaiian Airlines. Loved it. So proud to know you. So fortunate to have learned to make kapa from you, mama and auntie. Malama pono, Kauka

  • Oh and I'm the contact for the kapa conference. I will email you the details.
  • Aloha e Kawai,

I met you at the PIKO conference and you stayed at my Auntie Maile in Waimea. I've been trying to send you emails of a conference we are putting together. Is your email in use. I think I have one email addy for you but don't know if you are receiving the emails. We got support and consent from the other kapa makers but just waiting on your and your mom. So let me know if you are interested. If not, I can remove your name from the list.

    Aloha,

    Momi
