Friday, May 8, "The Place of Hawai'i in American Studies" series is putting on an event at the Center For Hawaiian Studies. David Stannard will be giving a keynote address for this event, and there is a panel called "Colonial Citizens: Discussion on the Legacy of Hawai'i Statehood." Karen Kosasa, Dean Saranillio and Keala Kelly are on the panel. The event begins at 3pm. Hope to see folks there. Please copy and paste the event info into an email and send it out far and wide. It would be great to have lots of Kanaka Oiwi there.
