  • Aloha Richard,

I would if I could, attend, but I'm on Maui. I'm looking forward to viewing video footage of the event!

  • Aloha Tane a me na Kanaka Maoli:
I watched this video and I listend to the words of Tane to the people of Kahana. My heart cries out to the people of Kahana. The words from Tane are so true. We Kanaka Maoli must fight for what is ours. We must come togther to preserve what is ours.
Those of us here in Mainland may seem far away from you but as Tane said, we are with you in spirit and pule just as our brothers and sisters from Kaua`i are with you in spirit. We spread the word up here to people who will listen.
I am a flight attendant, so I meet people from all over the United States. There are passengers who recognize me as a Hawaiian and will ask questions and I will tell them the truth that they have never heard from school. Once they find out the truth they in turn feel the wrong that this country has done to us. What they do with that knowlege is beyond my foresight because I do not see them, but hopefully they will spread the word to their friends.
E Pomaiaka`i ke Akua no lakou.

  • The Stage is Set. We'll be Gathering at the Ahu as a nation, a people and as Free Hawaii. We don't need a permit for our Gathering at the Ahu. The UN Declaration of Rights of the Indegenous People provides for our Freedom to our Religious Sites. Let all of us gather at Ahu and honor our Queen and our Kupunakahiko on November 11.
