June 7, Saturday, marks the historical event of our 1839 Constitution by King Kamehameha III. I am eternally thankful to Ke Akua for creating this event which insures freedom for Kanaka Maoli. This includes our land, our resources, and our minds.Is anyone celebrating? We are! We're heading to the beach and barbecuing til sunset at which time we'll look at the horizon and express with tears of joy our total thankfulness to Ke Akua, our ancestors, and our Ali'i for having the intelligence, vision, and the Aloha to be able to look around them, know what was going on, and take the necessary steps needed back then to secure our future today and for our children, the generations to come. Mahalo! Mahalo!! Mahalo!!!
