Hawaiian Tapa/Kapa tool making class at the Amy Greenwell Ethonobotanical Gardens in Capt.Cook, Kona, Big Island of Hawaii. Learn how to make a Kua La'au/anvil, Hoho/preliminary round beater, and an I'e Kuku/beater with watermark design. 

We will have the saw mill prepare the blank Ohia logs for  the tools, in class we will shape & carve them.

Class taught my Kumu Wes Waianiani Sen of Hale Kuku O Moanalua 30 years experience.
