Army seeks public input on valley's cultural sitesThe Army will be hosting a meeting to get community input regarding their views on the priority of cultural site access at the Makua Military Reservation.The meeting will take place at Nanaikapono Elementary School cafeteria, on Monday, March 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.mCurrently the Army has a list that includes 116 known archaeological sites.The list is available at the Wai'anae, Kapolei and Hawai'i State public libraries.The army is planning on reviewing the current list and using the public comments to eventually draft a list of high-priority sites including the rationale for the selection of each site.   • Hey, it's all about friendship! I was there tonight, it seems the military is consistent in slowing the process. Aila has stated that most time is lost on focusing on what is not being done in comparison to what money is being spent on clean-up at Makua.
