  • I am planning to come to Mauna Kea in the New Year. Like I shared with some there are huge and significant connections to Mauna Kea from the perspective of being Māori and Maoli or Maohi. I have been collecting and sifting through our ancient lore and in there it makes reference to Mauna Kea. Im going to try and come around the same time as the ceremonies at Pu'ukoholā next year when I found out when the dates are for 2010. I am interested in any history or connections that we might be able to make before that time arrives. Its an exciting time for us all. Iorana maururu, kia ora.
