A&B refused to do a Traditional Cultural Place study. They say our 92+iwikupuna bulldozed and sandmined are not culturally or historically significant.
Bogus Burial Treatment Plan shown to the Burial council in August 2011, 8 pages.
In September 2011 a 146 page report is published-Burial Council has never seen it.
1. Preserve the sand dunes with iwikupuna intact, build on the flat or sand mined areas,
2. Ask for a 106 process. Let Kanaka Maoli voices be effective.
3. Demand a Traditional Cultural Place Study be done.
4. Ask that Burial council be allowed to approve, recomend, view the real preservation plan Take back the illegal plan SHPD.
Iwikupuna are important
No plan for community input in Preserv. plan, no plan for upkeep. Currently, broken fences, no tarp, no skip, faded markers, exposed iwi have been noted for 5 years. A&B says that they monitor the sites regularly

f Urban zoning is given then sand mining can proceed without a special use permit. I advocate for conservation zoning of all the sand dune areas.
