MEMORIAL DAY THOUGHTS FROM A HAWAIIAN WARRIOR

According to a Hawaiian religious belief, Kuleana lands with a Land Commission Award or lands that have a Hawaiian burial site on them is a piko with a spiritual umbilical cord connected to Hawaiian ancestral spirits, spirit guardians known as “Aumakua” and the creator of life.

And to connect with certain Hawaiian ancestral spirits, Aumakua and the creator of life; a descendent or anyone looking for divine wisdom has to be on their inherited Kuleana land, or a Hawaiian burial site.

So does this mean opposition from Hawai`i’s current illegal occupation government, given to the decedents of these Kuleana lands who are registered by a Land Commission Award?

Or people making a pilgrimage to Hawaiian burial sites for wisdom - subjects to a kind of Hawaiian Holy War because their religious practices to worship on sacred land is usually interfered with by the current US occupation government in Hawai`i?

In March 2004 to March 2005, I fought in the American campaign to influence a control over Afghanistan’s natural resources and the assortment of political factions motivated by Holy War.
In September 2005, I was honorably discharged from the US Army.

I enrolled into the University of Hawai`i at Hilo and learned about the political situation in Hawai`i where I realized that I left one war to fight in another war to help liberate Ko Hawaii Pae Aina - The Hawaiian Kingdom.

On this Memorial Day, let us honor all those soldiers who have fought and died in their battle against oppressive forces who restrict the freedom of the people that try to live a righteous life style.

Our individual virtues are our Judges who will work with fate to make our individual destiny. Know thyself and the source of the light pointing your way.
