What is a macron?

Most Polynesian alphabets have 5 vowels : A - E - I - O - U.
The macron is a diacritical mark used to indicate a long vowel.
ā - ē - ī - ō - ū - Ā - Ē - Ī - Ō - Ū
 

What is the Polynesian Keyboard?

The Polynesian Keyboard is a usual English QWERTY keyboard with integrated macron function.
 

How to install your Polynesian Keyboard?
Download the .rar file (243ko).
Extract the file.
Launch the Application Setup.
Go into your Control Panel, look for keyboard settings and add the Polynesian keyboard.
Select the Polynesian Keyboard as your actual keyboard.
 

How to place a macron on a vowel?
For lower case letters : Alt Gr + Vowel (or the 2nd Alt + Vowel depending on keyboard)
For upper case letters : Alt Gr + Shift + Vowel (or the 2nd Alt + Vowel depending on keyboard)
 

What systems are supported with the Polynesian Keyboard?
Currently, the Polynesian Keyboard works on :
