The United States acquired Hawai`i through force.Queen Lili`uokalani, Hawai`i's last Queen, was deposed on January 17, 1893, by a group of American businessmen supported by the United States Navy and Marine Corps and diplomatic representatives.Sovereignty of Hawai`i was allegedly transferred to the US on August 12, 1898 during ceremonies at `Iolani Palace in Honolulu, on the island of O`ahu by a small group of foreign business men who called themselves the "committee of safety."Hawai`i allegedly became a US territory in 1900.On Nov. 23, 1993, The United States apologized for illegally overthrowing the Kingdom of Hawai`i, and recognized the inherent sovereignty and right of self-determination of native islanders.Needless to say, a lot of shady events took place between January 17,1893 and August 21, 1959.There is not one document or shred of evidence to show that any land was transferred or given to the US by the Hawaiian Kingdom.History Clearly Shows The Hawaiian Nation Wasn't AnnexedIt Was Stolen!
Yes and I believe the statute of frauds holds true for the "state" of Hawai'i too. Everything dealing with land must be written but they will try to find ways to take what does not belong to them. Can someone PLEASE make a sign that says "Our consent is required in order to transfer title. Do not steal."
On January 17, 1893 at 6pm Queen Liliuokalani yielded under protest her authority as the constitutional sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands to the United States. The KUE of Queen Liliuokalani continues to remain in place. It is in that Spirit of the KUE of Queen Liliuokalani that will lead us to the restoration of our Kingdom. Long Live Our Kingdom of Hawaii.....
On Jan. 16, 1893 the United States thru an Act of War invaded and occupied the Hawaiian Kingdom with it's military forces. All actions by the United States since Jan. 16, 1893 are unlawful. The Sovereignty of a nation and its Indigenous native people cannot be transferred to another nation thru an Act of War. United States, the State of Hawaii, Governor Lingle and her Attorney General Mark Bennett do not hold the Sovereignty over the lands of Hawaii. The Sovereignty of the lands of Hawaii are Inherent in the Indigenous Hawaiian people, the Kanaka Maoli Hawaii. The only way that the Sovereignty of Hawaii can be transferred to the United States is by the Kanaka Maoli Hawaii relinquishing their claims and Sovereignty to their national lands their Kingdom, the Hawaiian Kingdom nation. It is time that the United States pull down their flag and Go Home, ALOHA OE, U.S.A. KU I KA PONO March-Rally Jan. 17, 2009
