FREE HAWAI`I TV - "UNKAU INOA IS BACK!" - Blog

Please read before you delet. I am so sensitive to this because the last night of the 1978 concon we opt'ed not to go out and creat a tribal roll, instead we wanted to go out and educate our people as to what was the ramification of the formation of OHA , the changes, and how it will change our Hawaiian communities to poverty. Why am I sensitive to this because a lot of t-shirts were given to housless people to wear because of their visibility. Secondly, they have lasting pride for being Hawaiian and the only thing they have in their empty pockets is their sense of identity. In courts that is all they have when the judge ask them what is your name. If a dog could talk he would answer, however because he can't talk he reaches an end to his life at the human society. Whereas a houseless can say his name in a court and receive possibly community service as oppose to jail or a horrendous fine which tranpose into jail if he can't pay. Poverty people spend a day in court each day for being houseless.

So if you want to educate, give UnKau Now t-shirts and take the other one away for a memorial at the Palace on the last day of the 1978 con con. Does anyone know the date? March/April? Kaohi
