  • Aloha kaua e Miliaulani,

I hope everyone on Kaua`i turns out to "greet" Mr. Fargo and tell him what awaits the Superferry if it ever dares return.

  • Talk about great timing. Fargo is scheduled to speak to the Kauai Chamber of Commerce this week regarding the return of the Superferry to Kauai. He promised to reach out to the community before attempting to do so. His idea of reaching out is to preach to the choir or to talk to those in the community who represent business interests and in no way reflect the opinions of those who adamantly protested and spoke at the various hearings. What a relief the the Hawaii State Supreme Court saw threw the fallacy that Lingle and the legislature created when they passed Act 2. No doubt there will be an appeal. And the saga continues.
