Are you saying that you are the only descendant of one alli and that you are entitled to all crown lands? Are you for real? It reminds of Akahi Nui who went to the palace and didn't know which room to go to. He could have paid the $15 for the tour, and he would have found it without any problems! How do you expect the po'e to listen and follow you when your own intentions does not serve the interest of the Hawaiian Nationals!
I think the question is much broader no matter if it is specifically aimed at someone or not. It's troubling to think that there are those of us out there, and there are, that believe they are solely the heirs of the kingdom. It's just like all the groups out there that lay claim. Why are we separated by this obvious haole form of thought? We are all heirs and yet none of us are. Noone could lay claim and that alone be granted. Remember there were royal elections! For someone to say they alone are the heir to the crown lands is really a mute point and quite a greedy one in my opinion.
This would be an interesting discussion...Your question though is phrased wrong. I think this one is meant for Amelia, so if it is let me help rephrase your question. "Are you saying that because you are a descendant of Kamehameha through Hanuna and a descendant of Princess Poomaikelani and many of the other Alii, do you think you are entitled to use the crown lands that the State of Hawaii and the United States Government have illegally seized title to, and have made hundreds of millions of dollars off of ?"
You know these people who make these claims, they remind me of Haoles. They profess to be claimants to whatever they feel is entitled to them. They use, at least in this case, their genealogy as their claim to land and $$$. It's never about how they want to RULE, or be the head of state/crown, or that they want to act like an alii, although maybe they actually do. But their main focus is the land and money.
In other words, they don't care about the rest of us.
