  • Mahalo 'ia 'oe for this clear and kind invitation to kama 'aina maoli (my phrase as far as I know-and I like it!), non-koko...true to US form whipping up fear is it's way to control the masses so that either there is no change in the 'wrong' direction, or it is change that benefits the adgenda of the occupational status quo. Lastly, it's good that words and phrases like: occupation, illegal, Hawaiian answers already exist, culture of Hawai'i etc. etc. are being used more and more and becomes recognised and openly discussed topics.   • It doesn't surprise me that some try to instill fear in non-Hawaiians but then one look at US and our mixed ethnicities and they can see that their fear is unfounded. It amazes me though at what length some people will go to try to de-humanize the Hawaiian. Aloha, L
