    You can also add Kawena's mother Mary Keli'i-paahana Hiilei-lani Kanaka'ole and her Aunt Fannie Ka-makolu-nui-o-ka-lani Ka-ula-o-ke-ahi Kanaka'ole as her kumu. Their kumu was their mother Harriet Hannah Nali'ipo'aimokuKa-wahine-poaimokuKa-iako-ili-o-ka-lani Kanaka'ole who's father was Keli'iKanaka'ole I and her mother Keli'ipaahana. Keliipaahana was born in 1816 and Poai was born in late 1830's or early 1840's.
