Another picture of the river near DC that I took on our hike.Dr. Burrows at Kamehameha Schools (when I was on full financial aid) taught me to appreciate nature even though I was super poor but then one is very focused on food and clothing when one is poor so it can be difficult to look beyond hunger and a lack of clothes :PI remember every month my Hilo Grandma would fly from Hilo to Honolulu just to give my mother a variety of meats for us to eat. Good memories.Personally I think he (and many others who I watch) should receive a medal for much of what he does/they do but then that is just me.
