The summer 2008 military RIMPAC war games beach landing exercises damaged both the reefs, air quality & the peacefulness of the village of Waimanalo. Over 40 community members of all ages spent a hot & bothered day outside of Bellows Marines Training Area (formerly the esteemed healing grounds of Puu Honua o Haununaniho) making it clear that they no like! destructive war games in Waimanalo.
