  • Have you checked Hawaiian Journal of History? Their index is online, and the journal goes back to 1967...
  • Do you have the book on her by Marjorie Sinclair? Besides that, I have (somewhere) a name chant for Nahienaena, which may be in the book as well - let me know if you want me to look for that...
  • wat?!??!? a'ole hiki ke GO CLASS??? lol shitty n e way. wen is dat term paper due?
  • yeah, i'm in the far off land of california right now. i LOVE school, but i hate being away from home. i can't wait to finish. i'm hoping to go to grad school, but i'm not sure what i want to go into. if i choose hawaiian language, i'll be at manoa, but if i choose classical languages i'm thinking about england.

we're too young for this stress.
  • check hawaiiankindom.org and google Hawaiian Journal of Law and Politics for soem good primary sources. It's true that it hasn't been 'proven' conclusively - the admittance of the delegation representing the Kingdom is evidence of the validity of the argument, but not necessarily definitive proof - that is only seen in the logical and legal analysis... I do have an interesting quote from US Dept of justice that I'll forward to you. Anyway I'm glad you're researching this yourself instead of just taking my word for it - I still tel students 'don't believe me!'
