  Luana - my definition is that if i can find/add friends and each individual has a profile page, then it's a soc-network - so I count things like Flickr, MyFamily.com and even geni.com. I don't really count any of the "groups" i'm in... cause many of those have a different purpose and are more akin to a forum, newsfeed or special interest discussion- depending on the topic and the way the moderator has set it up...but if I did...well my yahoogroups count alone is currently at 56.
