    Aloha e Clifton. I saw your name and I was going to ask if your Kaea side comes from Maui but I see that you already come from Maui. Somehow, my family is tied into the Kaea line. My family actually comes from Huelo but the Kaeas that I saw were living around Makawao to Peahi area. There was a Jonah Kamaka Kaea who was related to us, although never really explained how we were, but even before the records that I saw, i was told that we were related to the Kaia/Kaea 'ohana.

    Eventually I'd like to learn more about those ohana and I certainly didn't expect to find anyone with that name. My assumption was that the name died out but here you are. So if you come from Jonah or other relatives of his (Jonah's father was Hoopii Kaea and his mother was Maria, then we are related.
