So happy to make your acquaintance. I just re-read a prior introductory message from you, Please forgive me for not replying sooner. You are my first friend from Aruba. I'm afraid I know nothing about your country nor have I ever heard of of your language. I am very interested in your country.
I am 69 years old, part Hawaiian, Fillipino and English. I have 6 children and 14 grandchildren, I great granddaughter.
I live on the island of Kauai in the archipelago of the Hawaiian islands.
I am a community activist and volunteer advocating for Independence of my country, Hawaii. I speak English and a little of my native tongue,
I am a cultural practitioner and honor the ways of my ancestors. I am a musician and hula dancer and advocate issues to preserve, protect and restore our native lands, water and culture.
I am always busy going to meetings and forums to testify on these subjects We face much destruction of those kind of issues against governments that continue to steal our lands for greed of money. We are doing our best to hang on to what we have, what is left of our lands, water and culture.
What are your struggles in Aruba?
Just got your message saying HI!
What's on your mind? what to start a dialogue? Please feel free to ask any questions or to start a topic.
What's life in Aruba like? Where exactly is Aruba and are you an independent country?
