My name is Iokua Kahananui, my father is Alfred Keli'i Kahananui Jr., Ihave a great Uncle Joe that was known throug out the islands as Uncle Joe.  just trying to connect with family I have never met

    Aloha! My Great great Tutu Is Meleana Kahananui who married my great tutu Samuel M.P. Kaleo. Meleana is the sister to Joseph Kahalehookahi Kahananui and Penikala Kahananui who is the tutu to the Kahaiali'i Ohana ( Willie K).

      ku'uleialoha- my husband side do not know if they are related to the Kahananui because their father
      died when they were young and the only info I got is their grandfather- Henry Kahananui was born
      and raised in Waialua/ Haleiwa area and married Elizabeth Poho Kaneala ( Daniels), they divorced
      and he moved to the mainland. Unfortunately my husband died not knowing anything. I have met
      uncle Joe and uncle red from Kona alsos aunty Hattie, my aunty is married to uncle Joe's first
      cousin- Joseph Kanakamaikai,Sr.

      My father..... Joseph Kahananui Jr live in Maui... He is the only one that lives in Maui. My father's siblings live all over and not only in Kona.
