Hālau Nā Mamo O Ka Liko Maile O Kohala is a school of hula dedicated to preserve and ensure the continuance of the Hawaiian culture through the art form known as hula. Its main purpose is to perpetuate and transmit ancestral Hawaiian knowledge through language, history, protocols, chant, music, dance, crafts, values and traditions; and provide opportunities for students of all ages to develop a strong identity and connection to their homeland and host culture. Also, to foster a desire to think, act and live a life with Hawaiian values and traditions.
