PONO ALERT: Right The Wrong Against Hawaii

Aloha kakou,

The Star Advertiser invited readers to make suggestions for President Obama’s next two years. Several Hawaiian Nationals sent in comments. Today Brandi Hyden’s got printed.
Way to go, Brandi!

Hopefully, a few more will be printed in the next couple of days.

Malama e Makahiki Hou,

Right the wrong against Hawaii

More than 100 years ago, our last reigning monarch, Queen Liliuokalani, entrusted the U.S. president with the responsibility to restore her to the throne and right the wrong that was done by the U.S. troops' invasion of this neutral nation-state. That responsibility has been inherited and neglected by every U.S. president since Grover Cleveland.

What will you choose to do? Will your name be added to a list of negligent U.S. presidents, or will you do what is right for the people and the land of which you are so proud?

Brandi Hyden
