Just a message to inform everyone of an upcoming conference and gathering of those involved in teh establishment of an academic association of scholars in American Indian/Native American/First Nations/Aboriginal/Indigenous Studies. The conference is being hosted bu the Institute of Native American Studies at the Unviersity of Georgia, April 10-12, 2008.
This is the second of three meetings convened by the steering committee. Next year's meeting in 2009 will be held at the University of Minnesota-Minnesota. for more information on the '08 conference, its goals, and attendees:
