The Hewahewa reunion is scheduled for three days in October (God willing) on the 9-10th in Waimea Valley, Oahu and on the 11th a special event is being planned with as many as 10,000 people attending from na 'ohana from Bora Bora, Tahiti, Samoa, Huahine, Raiatea and Aotearoa as well as Kanaka Hawai'i who are descendents from Pa'ao to Hewahewa are expected to attend. A Genealogy committee will be scrutinizing claims to Hewahewa, in order to attend and partake in the events planned. Strict protocol is needed. Come and meet your 'ohana and enjoy knowing who you are and where you are. the next meeting is set for Mar. 22, 2008 in Waimanalo at the Multi-purpose room next to the gym on Hihimanu Street.
