Don't miss the Benefit Concert for World Can't Wait-Hawai`i on Saturday night, November 13th, from 7-10pm at The Venue. There will be a debut performance by a new band - Peabody Mable. You may know some of its members: Melisa Medalle, Robbin Henley, Pete Doktor, Brenda Kwon, Mike Iredale, Dylan Davis, Brian Bilsky. They'll be joined by veteran blues/rocker Rob Kennedy, as lead singer/guitarist. They'll be followed by Black Square. Have fun and support World Can't Wait at the same time! World Can't Wait-Hawai`i is one of the few activist organizations that has consistently organized against the war, for GLBT rights, and for a woman's right to choose. They can't exist without your support.Tickets are $8 pre-sale or $10 at the door. The gig is 21+. The Venue is adjacent to BambuTwo (just mauka of Hawaii Theatre on Bethel Street).
