Aloha mai kākou,Wednesday will be the day when the U.S. Supreme Court will hear Linda Lingle's appeal in case of the seized Hawaiian lands. In support of the Oahu events, we will hold a support demonstration on Kuhio Hwy at Hardy Street in Lihue from 3:00 p.m to 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. with signs and up-side down flags. I can take several kanaka maoli flags with me if you bring your own flagpole and hooks or carabineer clips (the flags have grommets) or bring your own flag, either official Hawaiian or kanaka maoli. And bring your sign - with whatever message you deem appropriate. We need all the support we can get. Also invite others, including children.I have the archive copy of Queen Lili`uokalani's statement on the seizure of the land and I really would like to make a big poster out of it, but I haven't figured out yet how. If I cannot make, I will make a lot of copies that we can hand out to people passing by.Please let me know who else will come. I will be there. IE lilo i na `a`ali`i ku makani mai kākou: `a`ohe makani nana e kula`i! (Let's become a wind-resisting `a`ali`i bush that no gale can push over.)Me ke alohaJános Keoni Samu
