Hui Hula 'O Punahele Hula Halau is sponsoring their 6th Annual Hula and Tahitian Dance and Drumming Workshop. Featuring renowned Kumu Hula Keali'i Ceballos of Hula Halau Keali'i O Nalani and Tereki's Polynesia Lead Drummer, Derek Keil. This event has become one of most sought after workshops in the midwest. This year, Keali'i is celebrating his 20th Anniversary with his Hula Halau Keali'i O Nalani and we are honored to have him teach exculsively.
Derek Keil, will be teaching a workshop on Tahitian drumming, focusing on a fresh look at Ote'a and Ori styles. You must have knowledge of all principal beats and have your own drum(s).
