Since the Armed Forces Day has been renamed as Military Appreciation Day the Kaua`i Alliance for Peace and Social Justice is organizing a peace support event with potluck lunch. The Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on Kaua`i (that has been designated as a "preemptive first-strike facility to defend the nation") will be open to the public (with proper ID, of course) in Mana in Kaua`i. On the way to the facility in Waimea on Kaua`i we will have peace activist with flags and flyers and good words to enlighten the people headed to PMRF, or interested, explaining the "benefits" and disadvantages of signing up with the Armed Forces. Please come by and display your kanaka maoli symbol and fly the kanaka maoli flag and the flag of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
