ALOHA Kakou, e Na Kanaka Maoli,NOHO HEWA is our story. Our story that is now being told and needs to be seen by everyone of our peole. Especially those of our people who have not been in the movement for Justice for our people.NOHO HEWA is just One Chapter of a larger story of our people's treatment under the great suppression of the United States and it's military forces.On January 17, 1893, Queen Liliuokalani yielded her authority as the Constitutional Sovereign of the Hawaiian Islands to the superior force of the United States under protest.NOHO HEWA tells the story of Kaulana Na Pua O Hawaii, the Kanaka Maoli people of Hawaii who are standing up and speaking out against the on going Holocaust of the Indigenous Hawaiian people.It now the duty of every Kanaka Maoli to tell all their Ohana of NOHO HEWA, get them to go and view the showing of our story.ALOHA KUU AINA HAWAII, o PomaikaiokalaniThere are still two more screenings and I am hoping people will come out.Not sure yet how the ticketing will work, but the festival will be showingit for FREE on Friday, Oc 17th at 3:30 pm and Sunday, Oct 19th at 6:45 pm.HIFF is doing this to make up for the trouble with the limited capacitytheater the film found itself in on Monday.
